The outdoor coffee table was the first project I did. After months of debating with myself on whether or not I’d actually be able to use tools like a miter saw, the coffee table was perfect to start with and came out way better than I actually thought it would. The step by step instructions in the plan gave me the confidence I needed and now my back porch has a coffee table that doesn’t even look like someone who knew nothing about wood and the tools needed to DIY only weeks ago could have made it.

Very easy to follow plans and well thought out. To not only to include a materials list but a cutting plan for the wood that allows for any size adjustments or customizing. Also added links for selecting wood, finishing and how to’s for using tools properly.

I have tackled a lot of projects and repairs around the house over the years thanks to my Dad, but, I have never been brave enough to try wood working and building projects. These Pine and Poplar materials and videos have been the game changer in terms of feeling knowledgeable about why/what/how to do things, thereby giving me the confidence to actually do it! I purchased your cabinet building guide a few months ago and they were very easy to follow. We were able to build a locker system in our mudroom with them! The space used to be a double door closet when we moved in but took those out. The locker system is way more functional!

This is such a great program for beginners to start woodworking. I really enjoyed how everything was laid out and explained so thoroughly. Now I have the confidence to tackle projects, and have done multiple projects in our previous home after taking the course.

With each project I developed more confidence to move on to the next. I like that that the program started with an easier project and that it felt natural and easier to increase the level of difficulty and skill set with the 2nd and 3rd project. I wasn't sure how to get started and your step-by-step gave me the confidence to just START! I loved the lessons on making pocket holes as well as the overlays on making different styles of doors.

I Made That feels like your friend next door is showing you how to make the things you always wanted to make, and didn't realize were within reach. I love how Zoe lays out exactly how to use each tool. I especially liked the videos explaining how to use each version of a kreg pocket hole jig.

I found her on Instagram about 6 months ago and followed her. I have followed about a dozen people that focus on DIY's like myself, but there is just something about her and how she presents herself. Super chill, but detailed. You can see her passion. She puts out a lot of content as well as sells her knowledge of how to make the things she makes. I have purchased several of her classes and have found that with some practice you can really make some cool sh*t! I am 56 years young and never imagined I could make the things I have made out of wood. If you want to learn from a young lady that knows her stuff inside and out, then open you wallet and buy some of her beginner classes, you will be AMAZED at what you can make with zero previous experience.

I made two changes:
-I made it only 54" long.
-Instead of cutting 100's of dowels I used Oak Pole Wrap from an on-line source. It changed the front &sides 1/4" set-back dimension.

After dreaming about getting started learning to use tools and make things, this program helped me go from overwhelmed to confident. Before I was trying to learn some basic DIY building skills, but the information on You Tube was overwhelming. With the course, I have had success with each project because of the detailed, step by step instructions. If I got stumped, I could go back and re-watch the specific piece I needed until I was able to go back to the project with the information I needed. Everything was very well organized.
